The payment of the last 20 per cent of the capital and the interest on the whole deposits in the former Bank of Industry, Commerce and Agriculture Ltd (Bical) was being held up by judicial procedures.

Answering a parliamentary question by Robert Arrigo (PN), Finance Minister Tonio Fenech said the controller was doing everything in his power to see the liquidation process is finalised as soon as possible.
