Valletta Waterfront outlets opt for waste separation

The Valletta Waterfront's business community has reached an agreement with Green Dot to begin separating different types of waste in bins that have been placed in the shops and restaurants there.

Over the past five years, Green Dot has been recovering waste for recycling from member companies, which would otherwise lack the infrastructure to recycle their waste according to their obligations.

Through this waste segregation and collection pilot project, Green Dot will be exploring how to increase its own capacity for waste collection and ways how to embark on further initiatives.

Local councils and commercial businesses may obtain information about Green Dot initiatives by calling 2166 0233.
