€350 stolen in armed robbery

About €350 were stolen in an armed robbery at a confectionary in Manuel Magri Street, Ħamrun yesterday afternoon.

The police said a hooded and armed individual walked into the confectionary and ordered the owner to hand over the money before rushing out.

Fortunately, the owner, who was alone in the shop at the time, was not harmed during the hold-up.
