Twenty-nine employees of the Middlesea Group donated blood recently at the Blood Donation Mobile Unit stationed in front of Middlesea House, the company's head office in Floriana.

The aim of the initiative, which forms part of the group's corporate social responsibility, was to help those in need as well as to create more awareness of the importance and significance of blood donation in the light of the recent shortages in blood supplies.

The Blood Donation Mobile Unit regularly visits various localities around Malta, seeking to recruit new blood donors. For more details call the Malta National Blood Transfusion Centre on 2123 4767 or 2206 6201.
