Trees at the Miżieb hunting and trapping reserve have been vandalised again, the hunters' federation said yesterday.

The Miżieb Reserve has been managed by the Federation for Hunting and Conservation - Malta (FKNK) since 1986. The vandalised trees were discovered last Sunday, when the FKNK members went to check and clean the place following the usual weekend barbeques, picnics and other activities, FKNK said.

The federation also condemned the felling of trees or cutting of branches to be used as firewood in fireplaces or stoves.
