Limited edition silver stamps, bearing the image of St Paul, have been issued by Maltapost's Philatelic Bureau to commemorate the Pauline Year celebrated by the Church.

The stamps, a replica of the €3-stamp of the Annus Paulinus issue and weighing 20 grammes, are the second in the series issued by Maltapost.

A maximum of 2,000 pieces will be issued in brilliant uncirculated (proof-like) condition and they will be individually numbered.

The stamps will sell for €50 each. They will be sized 44 by 31 millimetres with a thickness of 1.53 millimetres and will be available in a presentation box and come with a certificate of authenticity.
