MFSA licences issued in February

The MFSA has published the following list of licences issued this month:

(i) Collective Investment Scheme Licences

• Licence issued to Eos SICAV plc in respect of one sub-fund to carry out the activities of a Professional Investor Fund targeting Qualifying Investors.
• Licence issued to Global and Emerging Market Real Estate Funds SICAV plc in respect of one sub-fund to carry out the activities of a Professional Investor Fund targeting Experienced Investors.
• Additional Licences issued to NBCG Fund SICAV plc in respect of 3 sub-funds to carry out the activities of Professional investor Funds targeting Qualifying Investors.
• Additional licence issued to Altma Fund SICAV plc in respect of 1 sub-fund to carry out the activities of Professional Investor Funds targeting Qualifying Investors.

Change of Name

• NBCG Explorers Fund Sub-Fund has changed its name to NBCG Explorers Sub-Fund.

Surrender of licence

• Malta Financial Services Authority has accepted the surrender of Collective Investment Scheme licence granted to Citation Multi Strategy Russia & CIS Hedge Fund. The surrender is entirely voluntary and does not arise as a result of any regulatory action taken by the Malta Financial Services Authority.

(ii) Insurance Licences

• Licence issued to Pembroke International Insurance Company Limited to carry on the business of affiliated insurance restricted to risks situated outside Malta in 4 classes of general business.
