Members of the Maltese-Indian Community Centre recently visited the Peace Laboratory, Hal Far to commemorate Mahatma Gandhi's assassination. Members laid wreaths at the statue of Gandhi and listened to speeches by Peace Lab founder Fr Dionysius Mintoff and president of the centre Tikam Bharwani, who praised Gandhi as a great leader of truth and compassion.
