Pupils sponsor dog

St Theresa College's Birkirkara Primary School has set up a Pupils' School Council led by Ramona Blundell and supported by school head Josephine Gatt. One of the council's first activities combined healthy eating with care for animals. Fruit kebabs were sold to pupils at their school to raise money to sponsor a dog for a year at the Island Sanctuary, Delimara. The dog, named Jimmy Brown, is seen during a visit to the school to meet the pupils.
