Dentists call off industrial action
Government dentists have suspended their industrial action following an agreement with the parliamentary secretary for health to continue with discussions.
The Union Ħaddiema Magħ-qudin had announced industrial action last Saturday over its claim that the government failed to implement the dentists' collective agreement by last year as promised.
Dentists had been instructed not to make dentures and fillings or carry out administrative work. Children with special needs were excluded from the action.
