A man was yesterday charged with a hold-up that took place last year after he was allegedly identified in a police line-up recently.

Carmel Zammit was remanded in custody after pleading not guilty to committing the hold-up on July 28 in San Ġwann, stealing cash and holding Joanne Scicluna against her will.

Appearing before Magistrate Edwina Grima, he also denied possessing a firearm without a licence, breaching the conditions of a previous release and relapsing.
