There are franchises in Belgium, Denmark, Ireland, The Netherlands, Turkey, Australia, Cyprus, Dubai, Egypt, New Zealand, Switzerland and Greece. The restaurant chain is also present in the US and Kuwait.

In UK alone the chain has 2,295 employees.

The chain's many awards in the UK include being voted "Best Company" at the Retailer's Retail Awards 2008, "Most Popular London Restaurant" in 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008 as voted for by Zagat (people who compile restaurant guides) readers,

The restaurant chain sells 13,063 yaki sobas (fried noodles dish) and 12 tons of noodles each week while 1,500 portions of edamame (baby soybeans in the pod) are eaten every day.

The company's philosophy is "to combine fresh and nutrition food in an elegant yet simple setting with helpful, friendly service and value for money".
