The Union Ħaddiema Magħqudin plans to take action, unless employees within the public service and with Education 22 who are eligible to an indefinite contract, are given one.

The union said such employees became eligible to an indefinite contract following the issue of a legal notice by the government.

It said it would continue to follow the issue closely and, if the matter was not given immediate attention by the government, it would be holding a meeting with all the workers concerned to decide on what action to take.
