The New York Knicks' 5-foot-9 guard Nate Robinson collected 52 per cent of the fans' votes to beat defending Slam Dunk champion Dwight Howard, of the Orlando Magic, during the National Basketball Association All-Star Game weekend in Phoenix.

During his final attempt, Robinson jumped over the 6-foot-11 Howard to sink the ball in the hoop at the US Airways Center, where the 58th NBA All-Star Game was being played last night.
