The full development application of the Metropolis Plaza in Gżira is being assessed by the Malta Environment and Planning Authority after demolition and excavation works were concluded in summer. The developers have issued tenders for the construction of a three-tower high-rise structure and the offers are being evaluated.
Metropolis Plaza CEO Stephen Muscat said the project, totalling 188 residential units, among other facilities, was being submitted in its entirety and not divided into different phases. The process was what it was and had to take its course, he said.
