An Italian choir, Corale Alpina Savonese, currently in Malta on a Pauline pilgrimage, performed last Monday at Christ the King parish church in Paola. The 27-strong all-male choir sang Alpine songs which were greatly appreciated by the congregation, including parish priest Fr Vincent Cachia, vice-parish priest Fr Vincent Deguara and Parliamentary Secretary Jason Azzopardi.
