Bilateral cooperation in areas such as energy, trade and tourism were discussed this morning when Algerian Foreign Minister Mourad Medelci called on Foreign minister Tonio Borg in Valletta.

The two ministers also discussed the situation in the Middle East and the Malta Initiative for a more structured dialogue between the European Union and the League of Arab States.
