EIE to represent Cranfield, IUKB business schools
The European Institute of Education (EIE) has been granted exclusive rights to represent two of the best-known management schools of management in the world.
EIE is now the sole representative of Cranfield School of Management, which ranks third in the UK and eighth in Europe. The school offers a variety of courses including MBAs, executive education and doctoral programmes.
The Institut Universitaire Kurt Bosch (IUKB) of Switzerland in Malaysia is now also exclusively represented by EIE.
The announcement was made at a graduation ceremony in Attard last month for 85 of EIE's students who successfully completed their studies in six different courses at its Malta Centre: 33 were awarded a Master of Business Administration degree (MBA); nine graduated Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA); and 32 obtained a Diploma in Management.
Other students were conferred with an MSc. in Customer Service Management, an MSc. in Finance and an MA in Mass Communications. The guest of honour was Charles E. Dufault, Dean of the Business Programmes of IUKB, who had words of praise for the Maltese banking sector that had managed to withstand the current international storm.
"Your (the banks in Malta) success is built on the solid foundations of familiarity and trust - you know the customer and the customer has faith in you," he said, encouraging the new graduates to follow this example.
The European Institute of Education is a licensed institute of further and higher education. It operates educational programmes from its campuses in Malta (head office), the UK, the Czech Republic, the Republic of Georgia, Malaysia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Jordan and Cyprus. It has recently surpassed its 2,000 student mark.
Its courses are run in five languages and are designed to produce highly qualified professionals who will play important roles in commerce and industry.
Students are middle and senior managers holding posts at top companies and organisations which recognise the validity of the institutes' programmes.
