The estimated total cost for the refurbishment of public areas at Ta' Qali crafts village would have come to €13,339, 609, Infrastructure Minister Austin Gatt told Charles Buhagiar (PL) in reply to a parliamentary question.

The bulk of the cost (just under €12 million) would have been taken up by roads, parking areas and pedestrian areas; new drinking and sewer mains would have cost just over €1 million; and civil works for cable works would have accounted for more than €317,000. All costs would have included Vat.
