If the supply of fruit and vegetables rose, from my understanding the prices should get less.
Am i missing something?
Also, it is noticable that veg. and fruit prices increased. If the price increase is due to importers it is partially acceptable. However, I have noticed that some hawers and fruit shops sell locally produced vegs and fruit at an exagerated rate. For eg. from pitkali a colifower costs 30 euro cents whilst hawkers sell it for 2 euro each. Also why local oranges are equally priced as the imported? Why imported dried figs cost 1.20 euro whilst a couple of years ago a pack used to be sold at 0.50 euro cent or even less? Any answers?.
Shall we import fruit and veg. from ebay?
