Fight victim in stable condition

The 20-year-old man from Siġġiewi who was critically injured in a fight in Birkirkara on Saturday night was yesterday said to have taken a turn for the better and is now stable.

He was struck with a hard object wielded by a 19-year-old from Birkirkara, according to the police. The aggressor was arrested and a magisterial inquiry is under way.
