A group of Maltese youths recently took part in a Young European Parliament meeting in Venice where youths from all over Europe discussed topics such as immigration, emigration, addictions, health and environmental risks, and came up with concrete proposals to tackle present social issues at a local and European level.

The three-day event was the final activity of 'Be part of it', a project part-funded by the Youth In Action programme which was set up to create a network of young people, youth organisations and public actors.

Fondazzjoni Temi Zammit helped fund Malta's participation in the project which involved 10 partners from 10 different countries.
