Labour's déjà vu
Calling for several resignations during a two-hour speech on Sunday, Joseph Muscat found fault with all the government's ongoing policies.
He also came out with several proposals which have already been implemented by the government. Dr Muscat's speech, reminiscent of Alfred Sant's negativism, can at best be described as a very non-European style of doing politics.

I never had any problems exchanging the Maltese Lira wherever I went.
Pity that you are commenting from far away Canada and not from here to enjoy our Nirvana under Gonezipn and the eu diktat.

We never had any problems with the Maltese Lira and I never had any problem exchanging it in the countries I went to.
As for the eu, the people know what we are experiencing due to our membership, including a mass invasion of illegal immigrats which we have to keep because of eu regulations and how the eu made EFApn remove the reservations that the Maltese Government had made to the refugee convention because the eu knew we will be on its southern border and be inundated by illegal immigrants.
Pity you are in far away Canada and not able to enjoy our Nirvana under your beloved Gonezipn.

Had Dr. Gonzi 'copied' any of Drs. Sant and Muscat, just to be a nice guy, we would not be members of the EU (Sharon would have liked that), our currency would still be the unknown anywhere else, Maltese Lira and yes, all Maltese would have 10% less in their bank accounts thanks to the famous recommendations of Dr. Sant.
These are three of many more LP ideas which Dr. Gonzi and the PN unfortunately and unwisely did not adopt !!
You keep reminding us - thanks.

Non-European style of doing politics? What is European style then? The way the St. John co-cathedral mine is being handled? The way Gonzi is denting democracy in parliament? The way air port taxes were implemented? the way car registration tax was imposed illegally? and, oh... the way how dialogue is being conducted in the country? Ask the eleven unions whom Dr. Gonzi is afraid to meet. Is that European? Give us a break.

"What about the policies the government implemented and took the merit of, while they were proposed by Dr Muscat in the first place. Maybe you should tune your TV on other stations as well instead of just NET TV Ms Yolande Spiteri!"
If Gonzi indeed did as you suggested and implemented policies that Dr. Muscat had proposed; Dr. Gonzi is to be complimented.
However, I shall ask you what policies Dr. Joseph Muscat have suggested that Dr. Gonzi had implemented.
Kurt Mifsud, I shall patiently wait for your response.

Also, what about the measures that were implemented by PN... and revoked a mere 3 weeks to 3 months later?
