Man denies holding, threatening nine-year-old boy
Emanuel Pace, 42, of Birkirkara, this morning pleaded not guilty of holding a nine-year-old boy against his will and threatening to kill him.
He also denied threatening to use violence against his mother and carrying a weapon without a police licence and relapsing.
The court granted him bail against a personal guarantee of €5,000.

Mr Mallia, I know your frame of thought and you are correctto say that but I think since we do not know the facts and were not present in court, one should not judge a person.

Bail?!?!?!
I know innocent until proven guilty, but the courts remand people in custody for alleged drug offences and grant a person who allegedly threatened a minor bail?
