Every time the government opens its proverbial mouth, political forces in Malta come all out to condemn, object, criticise etc.

Alternattiva Demokratika's latest objection concerns the new site of the Gozo law courts. It's all well and good to find fault with some mega projects being proposed by the government but relocating the Gozo courts to the town centre is surely not a bad idea. AD's argument is the traffic problems this move might create.

I can bet my last cent that had AD existed in the 1960s when the first "highway", the Regional Road, was constructed it would have been objecting to it too. I leave it up to the reader's imagination to consider the traffic problems if AD had had its way.
