What surprises me is that the press insists on informing the general public about this when this is clearly a commercial press release. It's not like Vodafone are bringing about a revolution either... upping the data bundle to 1Gb is paltry to say the least... not even worth considering, especially when thousands of €s would have been spent on the required Blackberry server.

What worries me is that I coincidently happened to realize that 20 EURO was taken from my bank account. How many other clients did not realize? It's true I got the money put back In my bank account but after one month I have still not received an apology from the operator. That to me was theft and that's why I will make the switch to another network. Beware!!! This time was me, next time it's all of you.

I have been a client with Vodafone for 9 years now, with 8y pre-paid, last year I turned to post-paid. Till now I didn't get any thing for free, no free credits, no mobiles ??? Why do you do everything to attract new customers, and not try to keep your old clients happy with attractive offers?? Do I deserv a free mobile or a good offer after all these years? I'm not like many people that change subscriber almost every year, to get the best offer, maybe I'm doing wrong..

@Nicholas Gatt, I sympatise with you , how can a server like vodafone make money? That is what they are there for!! corner us in a legal way and sqeeze us, Dear Vodafone why dont you brand your name into Scroogafone? your christmas carol offers are pathetic and that goes to other servers here in Malta who benefit from the low competition!

Now we see panic from a server who has done nothing but sqeeze every penny of us. I am surprised at the cheek to tell us how benevolent you are !!! IT seems that vodafone does not realise we are in the EU and that we can compare prices!
Thank you Vodafone I hope that all the Maltese will have eyes open enough to realise how much money you legally robbed us

Too little too late Vodafone .... reminds me a bit of the last election!
Businesses in Malta never learn that you must take care of your customer 365 days a year and not when a competitor lands on your doorstep.

The time window is A very important factor, but for those with the homepack offers, how about removing the restriction on the 400 free minutes to only Go numbers, even if they would reduce the minutes substantially it would mean quite alot to Go loyal customers,I know it would to me !

I have to agree with the people below on the time window thing... quite shocking. What happens to that money?! is it lost? Who pockets it?

That is strange of this company to give us free credit now. Only one month ago I had 20 EUR deducted from my bank account by them. 1. I didn't make any top ups for those 20 EUR to be deducted and 2. No credit was given for those 20 EUR. Following an investigation by my bank, this company in question did return the money into my account but I can't trust them anymore after this incident. I wonder why this panic to give free credit to customers now... is there a new operator in town by any chance?

What about post-paid accounts (on-contract)? Do we get any benefit?
I will look into Melita's offers and then decide which is more convenient for me on contract basis.

How about if Voadafone and Go Mobile remove the time window before we switch over?Do't they think that the time window is a rip off? Now that Melita has no tme window we cann switch over.
