Gozitan paintings for Greece art museum

The Museum of Contemporary Art in Florina, Greece, has acquired three paintings by Gozitan artist Justin Falzon.

This museum incorporates a collection of 500 paintings, sculptures and engravings, mostly by artists from Greece but also from other countries.

The paintings were acquired during an art exhibition for students at the Lorenzo De' Medici art institute in Florence and mounted on the occasion of the Festa della Toscana 2008. It was titled Art Clash.

Mr Falzon, who has been a student at the Lorenzo De' Medici for the past four years, is now reading for a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art. He will be completing the course and graduating in May.
