The National Commission, Persons with Disability, has filed judicial protests against Gozo Channel and Banif Bank over lack of access.

The Commission said the Banif Bank branch of St Julians lacked wheelchair access despite this being a MEPA development permit condition. The bank’s head office also lacked such access, the commission said.

The commission said it had meeting with the bank, to no avail.

It also added that despite agreement reached with Gozo Channel on procedures for use of the ferries, including the publication of an information booklet, the booklet had not been published.
