Maltese man accused of selling fake Viagra online
Brady Abela, 22, this morning pleaded not guilty to selling fake Viagra pills online.
The court, presided by Magistrate Jacqueline Padovani, heard how Mr Abela sold the fake pills to clients in various countries including Estonia and the UK, over the Internet.
The alarm was raised by an employee at Pfizer Inc, which produces Viagra. He placed an order on the Internet and was actually supplied with the pills.
The local authorities were then alerted and conducted their investigations.

One has to be really gulible to buy viagra on line; those who bought these pills must have ended up surprised, embarrassed and above all unsatisfied.

Selling fake medicines is no joke it can be very dangerous - if found guilty then a very heavy fine as well as a suspended sentence is in order.
These people profit for doing nothing, while the sick suffer, and get sicker from this fake medicines scam.
The poor will always take the cheaper medicine - but usually it is the fake version they are sold, and they waste thier money on rubbish because of these misery pedlars.

The court should rise to the occasion and administer a stiff fine, if convicted.

It is sad to see the way in which so many vulnerable people end up risking their personal health by falling prey to such scams.
