Melita Mobile teams up with Telecom Italia

Melita Mobile has teamed up with Italian telecom giant Telecom Italia to offer full worldwide mobile roaming services to all its customers from the very first day of operation on Sunday. Through this agreement, Melita Mobile has access to almost 600 third party mobile operators across the globe in more than 200 countries for a full international mobile roaming service.

From February 1, Melita Mobile subscribers can make and receive international calls from friends, colleagues and family members abroad and likewise, enjoy access to full mobile services when travelling overseas.

Melita Mobile divides international roaming in eight different regions:

Region 1 - EU Countries; Region 2 - Non-EU countries; Region 3 - Asia; Region 4 - the Caribbean and South America; Region 5- North Africa and the Middle East; Region 6 - North America; Region 7 - the rest of Africa; Region 8 - Oceania (Australia and New Zealand).

There are eight regions with eight simple rates for international voice and video calls, one simple tariff for SMS and one simple roaming rate for MMS, WEB and WAP browsing, which only vary according to usage.
