The President and Mrs Fenech Adami left for Warsaw yesterday on an official visit to Poland at the invitation of Polish President Lech Kaczynski. The President is being accompanied by a business delegation and is due to hold meetings with his counterpart and the Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk. Foreign Affairs Minister Tonio Borg will join him today. Tomorrow, he will meet Cardinal Stansilaw Dziwisz, the private secretary of the late Pope John Paul II for 40 years. He will also attend the 64th anniversary liberation memorial at the Auschwitz Concentration Camp, before returning tomorow evening.
