Substance vs gimmicks

Nationalist MEP candidate Edward Demicoli is to be commended for his determination to join in the battle against spring hunting, even at this late stage when the practice is banned.

However, I think that it is also fitting to praise Alternattiva Demokrattika - the only political party to openly declare its intentions about the matter and to oppose spring hunting even when it was not fashionable to do so. This stance may not have gained the party any support from the hunters, but it has contributed to the party's credibility and consistency on environmental matters. I hope that we will vote for credible and consistent politicians to represent us in Europe.
