Computing students recognised for high achievement

Forty STC Training students have received a BSc (Hons) in Computing & Information Systems from the London Metropolitan University.

Prof. Felix Stravens, managing director of NCC Education, and Gareth Evans, dean academic division of the London Metropolitan University, were in Malta to celebrate with the students and staff.

This is the event's fourth consecutive year and this year the number of graduates rose to 40. An increase is being registered every year to make up a total of 150 graduates since the first BSc (Hons) in computing was offered at STC Training.

Following the local graduation, the students attended the UK graduation ceremony in London. These students have kept up with the tradition of obtaining very good results and 11 students graduated with a first class honours degree.

The students' success goes beyond degree level. STC students who are still going through their degree pathway, and who are at the diploma and advanced diploma level do exceptionally well and have, year in year out, been awarded high achiever awards both internationally and regionally.

This shows that even though STC Training is one of the smallest NCC Education Partners, Maltese students are among some of the highest-achieving students worldwide.
