In fact, it is not the case. The decision to print the newspapers in Malta was motivated by the fact that, in such a way, the distributers will be able to deliver the newspapers earlier and, therefore, potentially increase sales and improve service. Consumers have a whole day to buy the paper rather than between 6 and 7 p.m., which was the case when the newspapers were available on the news stands previously, having to be flown to Malta from the UK.
