I find it rather sad that people like myself, Carmen Aquilina, Norma Mallia, John Ripard and various others have to write to The Times to try to get our complaints about Melita aired. Melita never responds to or heeds any of the complaints, but continues to give a very mediocre service. All last week, the programmes as listed in The Times and the Melita Guide bore no resemblance to what came on the TV: wrong viewing times and different shows, all across the full spectrum of the various channels.
On ringing 2727 2727, and listening to the latest advert on the Melita Mobile launch in February, I finally spoke to a customer service operator, who on listening to my complaint stated that my views were my opinion, and if I did not like it, I should change my provider!
I think that attitude is indicative of the whole ethos of Melita... take it or leave it! Maybe we will all vote with our feet very soon.
