Head of customer service at Global Capital

Global Capital recently appointed Joanna Varrazzo as group head of customer service. In her role, Ms Varrazzo is responsible for managing Global Capital's customer service department, call centre and telemarketing department.

Ms Varrazzo has vast experience in the telemarketing and customer service areas. Formerly employed at Go, Melita Cable (now Melita) and Global Group, she was responsible for managing telemarketing personnel and later took on a managerial role as call centre co-ordinator.

"Joanna brings considerable experience in customer service and management. She will undoubtedly contribute towards achieving the group's targets," said chief executive officer Nicholas Portelli.

Global Capital is a diversified financial services group operating in three main areas of business - investments, insurance and property.

For the past 21 years, Global Capital has provided a one-stop service point for individual and corporate financial services requirements, with a special focus on financial management, fund advisory, life insurance, private medical insurance, insurance broking and property. The company has recently reaffirmed its direction to enter into banking.
