Scerri player of the month for December

Hibernians striker Terrence Scerri is the BOV player of the month for December after topping the journalists' poll last month.

Scerri netted a poker of goals in December, including a hat-trick in his team's outstanding 6-0 victory over rivals Birkirkara.

The player's strong running and poaching qualities are particularly impressive and it comes as no surprise that Scerri heads the scorers' list with 10 goals, a Malta FA statement said.

This successful record is also complemented with numerous passes to his team-mates, resulting in many other goals scored for the Premier League high-fliers.

The award was presented to Scerri by Emily Grech, manager at BOV's Paola branch. The Malta forward has chosen id-Dar tal-Providenza as the beneficiary of the cash donation given by BOV in relation to this award.
