A 37-year-old man from Marsascala was killed when glass panes he was unloading fell on top of him.

The incident happened as the glass was being unloaded to be taken into a warehouse in Mayor Vella Street, Zebbug, at 11.15 a.m.

He was with a number of other men who were using a fork-lifter.
