Horses at The Funny Farm

I have recently visited The Funny Farm in Bidnija, a non-profit organisation. The aim of the association is to provide shelter for needy, abandoned, neglected or ill-treated equines. The majority of the horses have either been saved from being put down unnecessarily and being sold for horse meat or have been donated to the association as unwanted "pets".

Currently there are a total of 24 horses and ponies at The Funny Farm. They are all extremely loved and well looked after. Thanks to the love and dedication of caring people, the horses are kept healthy and clean and given all the exercise, attention and love they need. Anybody is welcome to The Funny Farm to ride a horse or help out. You can even sponsor a horse.

And what could be a better time to spend with your children than around lovely people and horses!

A big thank you to Sue, who established The Funny Farm, for teaching my five-year-old son that there is more to life than just buying new toys or spending days on money-operated cars!
