Strong Gregale batters Malta
A small breakwater at Marsascala Bay proved its worth today as the Gregale whipped up high waves which battered the bay for most of the day. Luckily no serious damage was caused. The Force 7-8 wind is expected to persist to Tuesday morning but will then veer south east and moderate.

it is not a gregale - the gale force 8 winds today are easterly to east-southeast and NOT northeasterly. A gregale has to have northeasterly winds. And I do NOT long for the hot summer days - today is a perfectly nice stormy day for me thanks
