Youth group raises funds
The Mellieha Fireworks Youth Group recently collected over €5,000 during a 58-hour live radio marathon in aid of Puttinu Cares, with the participation of DJs from various local radio stations.
Several activities were held under a tent set up in Mellieha's main square, and included a night treasure hunt, a remote control car show, live performances by local bands and singers, tombola and a children's party.
