Lija citrus fruit festival
A citrus fruit festival will be held at the Lija parish hall on Saturday between 9.30 a.m. and 5.30 p.m.
The festival, held in collaboration with Lija primary school, will feature projects undertaken by schoolchildren as part of their school curriculum. A variety of crafts depicting citrus fruit will be on display.
Residents are also being encouraged to exhibit their produce, such as marmalades, candied peel, liquors and other items connected with citrus fruit.
