The Central Bank, like all eurozone central banks, is to exchange koruna banknotes for euro until February 27, without charge.

Slovakia became the 16th member of the eurozone on January 1.

Korunas may be exchanged at the Central Bank's Annex at St James's Counterguard, Valletta, from Monday to Friday from 8.30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Bank notes will be exchanged at the irrevocably fixed conversion rate of €1= SKK30.1260 up to €1,000 per transaction.
