Collective agreement for Cathedral workers
The St John's Co-Cathedral Foundation and the Professionals and Services Employees Union (PSEU) have signed the first collective agreement for museum attendants. It is retroactive to January 1, 2008.
The agreement, negotiations over which had led to brief industrial action, includes improved conditions of work and a code of duties.
The agreement was signed by Mgr Philip Calleja, foundation president, and Karmenu Vella, president of the union.
