PN sets up Gozo political school

The Gozo regional committee of the Nationalist Party has set up a political school to encourage active participation in politics, particularly by the young.

The school, named after Gozitan PN founder Fortunato Mizzi, will be inaugurated on January 31 by Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi.

Lectures will be held on the last Saturday of every month.

The inaugural lecture, on January 31, will be given by President Emeritus Guido de Marco on the role of a political leader. It will be held at the University Gozo Centre.

The closing date is January 21. Candidates will be asked to attend an interview.
