PN sets up Gozo political school

I am sure that every one agrees that politics in Malta is very divisive. After all the country is polarised with only a percentage point separating the two major parties at the last general election. It seems to me that the country needs fewer political clubs and rallies and debates. So isn't a PN political School in Gozo sort of waving a red flag infront of a wounded bull? Why not lay low and try to get along with your neighbor instead of another case that guarantees more divisiveness? Aren't election campaigns heated enough that Gozo needs politics on the front burner all year round? After all how much more political knowledge does Joe Public need to learn?

Will someone please explain how come this PN Political School will meet at the Gozo University Centre?? Is this venue - a centre of the University of Malta in Gozo funded by all taxpayers, not by PN party members, for the improvement of education in Gozo, and surely not for political activities - appropriate??

These comments make me laugh, whether they are for or against.

Ok..Pn will open a political school in Gozo...so what? Big deal! Everyone has the right to do whatever he wants to, according to whether this is permitted by law.

Political School? Are you kidding me? The late Coronato Attard had no formal education..He won three elections and his daughter is now the Minister for Gozo.. Being on the right side of the Church and the clergy is worth all the diplomas and political savvy that these courses could ever impart.

While being in favour of this school I bet you were against the suggestion of Joseph Muscat for youths being able to vote at the age of 16 since this was coming from the PL camp right??

It is a great idea, at least the younger generation can have some guidance how to pursue a political career.

What are you so afraid of.................. it cannot be worst than having to become a Super one journalist to start a political career!
