Microsoft donates software to Richmond Foundation

Microsoft has donated software to the Richmond Foundation, which will ease its administrative work and contribute towards providing a better service to its clients and their families.

The donation was made under the Unlimited Potential Scheme, a global initiative to support non-governmental organisations and provide technology skills.

Richmond helps people with mental health problems. Other than providing rehabilitation facilities, it trains people with such problems and helps with employment and support at their workplace.

"Although helping people who are already suffering from mental health problems is one of our priorities, it is also important for us to prevent mental health problems from developing," said foundation chief executive Dolores Gauci.

"While thanking Microsoft for donating the software, we are confident the deployment of this software will help us improve our current operations, enabling us to serve better the local community."
