What is the aim of mentioning the localities the persons arrested are from ? is it to try to paint a bad image of that town...if a group were from a particular locality i understand but in this case seems pointless

Thank you to the police and ambulance services and all those people working on occasions like these, May they have all that they wish for. Dunstan were the bars there before you moved in? if yes you knew what you were in for if not then you could have stopped them.Besides the legal notice or whatever they call it stipulated that bars and restaurants could stay open late on Christmas eve and New years eve . Happy new year to all .

Sincere appreciation and thanks to all the members of the police force, medical personell at hospitals, and all other corps serving the population and the country for they way they carry their duties with dedication and commitment. Happy new year to all and all their families.

It was a real surprise for me that some few minutes after midnight i saw a police van (properlly manned - 4 persons) patrolling the area of xemxija heights, which although just residential - it was also checked.

I am pleased to note that New Year's Eve was relatively calm and quiet. With the recent spate of shootings and murders we had the last thing we want is more trouble.

Very difficult scenario here when you have a sleepless night due to music blaring from places of entertainment. I hope you are able to have a peacuful kip this afternoon.

On the road it may have been...but aren`t they there to enforce all laws? we had a sleepless night with the din from 2 bars in Balluta!!! it lasted till around 4am!!! Closing time has to be enforced! unfortunately ,it never is around where I live!
Having said that,I would however like to thank the Police Corps for all the other work they do throughout the year...and wish them and their families a Happy new Year!
