In fact an entirely new food court will very soon be fully operational on MIA's minus one level to include a variety of restaurants offering a range of different cuisines.
The first establishment to open its doors launching this new catering concept is another Burger King outlet which is already proving to be a popular attraction to airport visitors. This is the fourth of its kind which has opened in Malta since the global food franchise brand joined the Maltese market in 1995. Located at the airport terminal right in the centre on the building, the restaurant is accessible from both the departures and welcomers halls. The MIA Burger King is open daily from 11a.m. to 2 a.m. from Monday to Thursday and from 11a.m. to 4 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.
A celebratory gathering took place recently to launch the new Burger King and to introduce the menu. Louis Farrugia, CEO of Farsons Group and Julian Jaeger, CEO of MIA, addressed the distinguished guests.
