Bupa and Casa Antonia sign payment agreement
GlobalCapital Health Insurance Agency Ltd., representatives of Bupa in Malta, and Casa Antonia recently signed an agreement to simplify payment transactions by eliminating administrative burdens for Bupa members and by creating a direct payment channel between the insurer and the private providers.
Through this agreement, Bupa members enjoying the convalescence home benefit are now able to make use of the convalescence services offered at Casa Antonia without the necessity of going through administrative burdens to settle transactions for services used.
Applicable charges related to the convalescence period will be settled by Bupa directly.
The agreement was signed by Bupa Malta Manager Adriana Zarb Adami and Edward Vella on behalf of Casa Antonia.
"This agreement with Casa Antonia follows other similar agreements which we have recently signed with other providers of private medical services. These agreements are a clear sign of our commitment to provide the best possible service for our customers," said Ms Zarb Adami.
"Bupa operates in 190 countries around the world, including Malta. Bupa is committed to offering the very best choice in health care to its members in a professional, caring and understanding manner. Above all, Bupa strives to offer its members, cost-effective and affordable choices in private health care," said Mrs Zarb Adami.
For the past 21 years, GlobalCapital has provided a one-stop service point for individual and corporate financial services requirements, with a special focus on financial portfolio management, fund advisory, life insurance, private medical insurance, insurance broking and property.
Casa Antonia is a privately owned, professionally managed nursing and residential home, offering long-term care, short-stay convalescent and respite care. This exclusive home, which commenced operations in July 2003, is nestled in a quiet cul-de-sac in Balzan and overlooks the majestic Presidential Palace and gardens of San Anton.
