I humbly ask Bank of Valletta to implement a suggestion that I made a few weeks ago and:

1. Send an e-mail to all account holders with the effective base rate and date when it becomes applicable.

2. List the base rates and effective dates on its website.

3. Show the interest rate charged on the statement itself so that overdraft and loan holders can try to check the interest they are charged on their account.

It is unacceptable that I am notified of the changes in the base rates through the press and not directly by my bank!
